Is this tool private like the rest of the site?
No — this is the one tool on Globoraa that isn't. Every other calculator and file tool runs 100% in your browser with nothing uploaded; this one has to send the link you paste to our server, which fetches the video from its source. We don't store the links or videos — the link is used only to make the one lookup you requested.
Which platforms are supported?
Most major video and social platforms are supported, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Not every individual video will have downloadable media available (age-restricted, region-locked or otherwise protected videos may return nothing) — that's a limitation of the specific video, not the platform. If a link fails, try again later or copy the link fresh from the platform's own share button rather than a shortened redirect.
Why do I see multiple quality/watermark options?
The source platform's own servers offer several versions of the same video — for example an HD copy without a watermark, a lower-resolution copy, and an audio-only MP3. This tool lists exactly what the platform makes available for that specific link; not every link offers every option (a no-watermark version isn't always provided by every platform).
Is downloading videos legal?
It depends entirely on the content and platform. Only download videos you own, have explicit permission for, or that are offered under a license allowing downloads. Most platforms' terms of service restrict downloading other creators' content without permission — respect that, and never redistribute or monetize someone else's work without their consent.
