Frequently asked questions

How do I extract just a few pages from a PDF?

Load the PDF, then type the pages you want — for example 1-3, 5 keeps pages 1, 2, 3 and 5. The tool builds a new PDF with only those pages, in that order, and leaves your original untouched.

Can I remove pages instead of keeping them?

Currently you specify the pages to keep. To remove page 4 from a 6-page file, just extract 1-3, 5-6. It's the same result with one line.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No — splitting happens entirely in your browser. Sensitive documents such as bank statements or visa files never leave your device.

The tool says my PDF is password-protected — what now?

Encrypted PDFs can't be read directly. Open the file in your PDF viewer, enter the password, and 'Print to PDF' or save an unprotected copy, then split that.

Can I split a PDF into single pages?

Yes — extract them one at a time (e.g. just 3), or extract a range. A one-click 'burst into single pages' option is on the roadmap.
