From 1 July 2026, India raised passport fees for its citizens abroad, including the roughly 4.5 million Indians living in the UAE. A standard 36-page adult passport now costs AED 450 (up from AED 285), and a 60-page passport costs AED 630 (up from AED 380). Rates effective 1 July 2026 per the Ministry of External Affairs (India) gazette notification, as charged for fresh or reissued passports at BLS/VFS-run Indian consular service centres in the UAE. Service-centre charges and attestation fees are separate, confirm the final invoice with your service centre.
